OUR COMMITMENT

We are committed to ensure that Phoslock (produced from naturally occurring materials) is manufactured under strict QA & QC requirements so that it will perform consistently and efficiently in all water bodies.

Extensive laboratory and field testing was carried out on a range of aquatic organisms using United States Environmental Protection Agency toxicity testing criteria. The CSIRO Centre for Advanced Analytical Chemistry assessed acute and chronic toxicology of Phoslock on a variety of aquatic species. No toxic effects of Phoslock (based on a measured dose rate) on aquatic organisms were observed. In Europe Phoslock can be imported and sold under the EINECS system. Extensive toxicity tests were also conducted by independent organisations in New Zealand and Australia.

Phoslock has been applied to water bodies in over 20 countries ranging from community and recreational lakes to large drinking water reservoirs, lakes and slow moving rivers. Phoslock is also being applied to aquaculture ponds to manage Phosporous concentrations.
